HYDERABAD: A woman was found dead with burn injuries in her house at Jeedimetla on Sunday.

Police suspect the woman might have ended her life allegedly unable to bear the harassment by her husband or that she might have been set ablaze by him.

The woman, K Lakshmi (30), was married to Mallesh, who works as a supervisor in a private company, 10 years back and they have two children.

The couple are residents of Venkatramireddy Nagar in Gandhinagar of Jeedimetla.

Mallesh is reportedly an alcoholic and used to quarrel with his wife which he did on Saturday night also.

On Sunday morning, finding the main door slightly open, neighbours went inside and were shocked to see the burnt body of the woman.

They found the doors of the room and some furniture were also partially burnt.

Mallesh was not found in the house and police suspect foul play
