HYDERABAD: Anna Hazare's core committee members, Gopal Rai and Chandra Mohan have urged the central government to ensure that a strong Lokpal bill should be introduced in the ongoing session of Parliament.

Speaking to mediapersons here on Sunday they announced that they had decided to take up a communications campaign titled 'Sampark Abhiyan' against corruption in every village, block and cities of the state.

They further stated that an active team would be formed to create awareness against corruption in the state. Further they stated that they are planning to conduct meetings in Karimnagar, Visakapatnam, Vijayawada, Tirupathi, Chittor and Nalgonda soon and are also going to organise a state-level conference here at the end of the April or the first week of May.

Supporting Anna Hazare's planned fast at Jantar Mantar on March 25 in demand for a strong Lokpal Bill, against killing of an IPS officer Narendra Kumar in Madhya Pradesh and for bringing in the whistle blower protection act, activists for the cause in Hyderabad too would take up similar protest programmes.
