HYDERABAD: The names of three senior IPS officers of the 1979 batch, who are currently additional DGP, have been cleared by the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) for promotion as officers of the rank of Director General (DG).
Sources said that the DPC, comprising chief secretary Pankaj Dwivedi and others, met here on Monday and cleared the names of SA Huda, Aruna Bahuguna and B.
Prasada Rao.
Huda is additional DGP (law & order), Bahuguna head of APSP Battalions and B Prasada Rao vice-chairman and managing director of APSRTC
