The Science Express - Biodiversity special exhibition train is scheduled to arrive at Secunderabad railway station on October 9, a day after the commencement of United Nation’s Conference of Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity. The train would be stationed there till October 19, the last day of the conference.
The exhibits displayed on express train aim to showcase myriad biodiversity in the country and different conservation measures adopted.
The exhibition would also showcase the aspects related to climate change, water, energy conservation, environment and legacy of Science Express.
The exhibition will be open for public viewing from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Ministry of Railways is operating the fifth phase of this, the train is scheduled to travel from June 5 to Dec. 22 covering 52 railway stations across the country.
