Assistant professor found dead

A 44-year-old assistant professor, working with Gurunanak college, Ibrahimpatnam died under suspicious circumstances at his quarters here on Wednesday. According to police, on Wednesday morning, the security man noticed the victim lying on his bed and informed to the college management. The deceased has been identified as Karunakar (44) and the dead body was recovered by the police.

“The victim went to bed around 10.30 pm yesterday after locking room doors from inside. The security man noticed  him lying on the bed and broke opened the door. The matter is under investigation,’’ said inspector K Ramkumar, Police registered a suspicious death case.
