DV Subba Rao, secretary, Hyderabad Chapter of Public Relations Society of India (PRSI) has bagged the prestigious best secretary national award. This is the first time that a secretary of the Hyderabad chapter has won the award in its 42-year history. Arye Juggesseur, High Commissioner of Mauritius, presented the award to DV Subba Rao and his wife Rajeswarei Subbarao at the 34th All India Public Relations Conference which was held in Shimla from Sept 29 to Oct 1. The award was conferred on DV Subbarao for his innovative and pro-active services for the advancement of PR profession and also for organizing qualitative professional development programs during the year 2011-12. DV Subba Rao is currently working as PR Assistant in Singareni Collieries Co. Ltd., Hyderabad.
