Dasara is the season for food to get more interesting and Hyderabad has a few places that indulge in their Bengali side. Here’s a few places cuisines you can check out this festival

Bengali Thali

Hotel Ista is organising a food festival at its in-house restaurant Collage with a specially designed traditional thali that offers a delicious spread of both vegetarian and non vegetarian. Serving an assorted range of vegetarian delights such as Dhokar dalna, sukto, Kach kolar kofta, Jhinge aloo posto, Radha ballavi, Korai shutir kachuri among others, the feast is promising.

For non vegetarians and fish lovers, enjoy the treat with dishes like Kolkata Beckti paturi, macher kalia, bhapa ilish, doi maach, kosha manso among others.  An authentic spread of Bengali desserts include Rasgullas, Sondesh, Pantua and Chom Chom.

Priced at Rs750 for vegetarians and Rs 850 for non-vegetarians for lunch buffet, and Rs 850 for dinner thali, the fest is on from October 19 to 28. Timings for lunch are from 12:30 to 3:30 pm and for dinner are from 7 to 11 pm.

Maach Mangsho Misti

Being hosted by Aditya Sarovar Premiere, “Maach Mangsho Misti” will be on from October 19 to 28 at Cascade.

A meticulously designed a menu of vegetarian and non-vegetarian thali, it comprises of delicacies from across Bengal such as Alur Chop, Beguni, Chachchari, Macher Jhol, Misti Doi and Bengaloads. The sweet tongued can dig into Bengali specialties like Sandesh, Malpua, Payesh, Chum Chum, Rassogolla and much more.

Timings for lunch are from 12:30 to 3 pm and for dinner are 7:30 to 11 pm. Charges are Rs 650, all inclusive.
