Director alleges threat calls

Tollywood director N Shankar on Saturday lodged a complaint with the police that some persons, posing themselves as fans of actor Pavan Kalyan, called him up over mobile phone and threatened him.

Shankar, who approached the Banjara Hills police around 11 pm with the  complaint, gave them a few mobile numbers from his he received the threatening calls.

He told the police that he started receiving threatening calls after he had demanded a ban on the screening of the film, Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu, in the Telangana region. Police said they would look into the complaint.
