In a tragic incident, a mother and daughter were crushed to death by a speeding train, while they were searching for their lost ornaments on railway track at Tallapusapalle in Kesamudram mandal of Warangal district in the wee hous of Sunday.
According to Government Railway Police, the victims identified as T Pramila (50) and her daughter B Anita (28) were searching for their ornaments that had fallen on the track at Tadlapusala station after some unidentified persons reportedly attempted to snatchtheir valuables.
Even as they were searching the ornaments, the Ahmedabad-bound Navjeevan Express hit the duo resulting in their instant death. Railway police registered a case.
