A woman was murdered allegedly by her son at Miyapur over financial matters. The incident came to light on Friday when a relative visited the house and found Venkatamma’s (52) body in a decomposed state.
Police suspect that the killing might have taken place two days ago and the woman was strangled with her saree.
While she lived alone at MA Nagar, her son Nagesh lives in nearby Papireddy Colony. Nagesh and his wife visited Venkatamma on Wednesday night, and argued with her over property. Police suspect the couple’s involvement, who are absconding.
