A day after a five-year-old boy was run over by a car during the shooting of a serial and another girl hospitalised with injures, the Chandanagar police arrested four persons, including the actress, in connection with the accident here on Saturday. However, they were granted bail later in the day.
Madhapur ACP K Govardhan Reddy told Express that they the actress Aparna, Indrani serial director Sarath, manager Venkat Rao and driver Raju in connection with the accident. E Satvik Reddy had died and Satvika was hospitalised with serious injuries after the car, driven by Aparna, ran over them.
The police produced the arrested before the court and later they were granted bail. “After the accident, the shooting crew fled the place. Aparna also tried to escape but with the locals assistance, police nabbed her on the spot. Based on the complaint lodged, we registered cases,” said the ACP.
