The Hyderabad-based Center For Sight recently conducted a conference on Goal Emmetropia, the latest development in the field of refractive surgery.
The conference was attended by 130 doctors in and around Hyderabad and was aimed at providing a platform to give basic instructions to general ophthalmologists, refractive surgeons and practicing optometrists regarding the technical developments in the field of eye surgery.
Doctors were also instructed about the proper use of the new equipment and the suitability of the patient for a particular procedure.
The centre has also launched a centre for refractive corneal and cataract surgery and an eye and face transformation centre.
Talking about the centre, Dr Aashish K Bansal, medical director for the cornea, cataract and refractive surgery said, “The departments are equipped with some of the latest technology which enables doctors to perform surgical procedures like LASIK and Customised LASIK for vision correction, refractive corneal surgery including cornea transplants, sutureless corneal grafting, etc, in the safest way possible.”
Eye and Face transformation Centre For Sight offers various scientific and practical approaches to deal with deformities and abnormalities of face and eyelids, some of which occur at birth and others through environmental factors.
