Tirupati-Karimnagar train inaugural run on May 22

As announced in last year’s railway budget, the South Central Railway will introduce a weekly superfast express train between Tirupati and Karimnagar from May 29.

The inaugural special service from Tirupati will be operated on May 22 and from Karimnagar on May 23. The regular service will commence from Tirupati on May 29 and from Karimnagar on May 30.

The Tirupati-Karimnagar inaugural special train, No. 12761, will be flagged off at Tirupati at 3.30 pm on May 22 and will arrive at Karimnagar at 4.15 am on the next day. The 12762 Karimnagar-Tirupati inaugural special train will be flagged off at Karimnagar at 7.15 pm on  May 23 and it will reach Tirupati at 8.05 am on the next day.

On its regular run from May 29, the 12761 Tirupati-Karimnagar weekly superfast express will leave Tirupati every Wednesday  at 10.40 pm and reach Karimnagar at 11.15 am on the next day. En route, it will arrive/depart Renigunta at 10.55/10.57 pm, Srikalahasti at 11.16/11.18 pm, Gudur at 00.30/00.32 am, Vijayawada at 4.50/5 am, Madhira at 5.50/5.55 am, Khammam at 6.22/6.23 am, Mahbubabad at 7.11/7.12 am, Warangal at 7.55/7.57 am, Jammikunta at 8.44/8.45 am and Peddapalli at 9.25/9.40 am.

The 12762 Karimnagar-Tirupati weekly superfast express, which will run regularly from May 30, will leave Karimnagar on every Thursday at 7.15 pm and reach Tirupati at 8.05 am on the next day. En route, it will arrive/depart Peddapalli at 7.55/8.10 pm, Jammikunta at 8.30/8.31 pm, Warangal at 9.36/9.37 pm, Mahbubabad at 10.37/10.38 pm,  Khammam at 11.19/11.20 pm, Madhira at 00.09/00.10 am, Vijayawada at 1.30/1.40 am, Gudur at 6.08/6.10 am, Srikalahasti at 6.52/6.54 am and Renigunta at 7.35/7.37 hrs.
