First sub-plane or the seventh heaven is the most glorious level of the heaven-world. It has but only a few inhabitants from our humanity. Here dwell only few other than the masters of wisdom and compassion, and their initiated pupils. No words can fully describe the beauty of form, colour and sound on this causal plane. In touching the seventh heaven, one comes in contact for the first time with a plane, which is cosmic in its extent; hence on this level one may be met by many an entity which mere human language has no words to portray. Those who are on this sub-plane have accomplished their mental evolution. From them, the illusive veil of the personality has been lifted, and they know and realise that they are not the lower nature, but use it only as a vehicle of experience. On this sub-plane, the ego is conscious of the lower heaven-world, as well as of its own.
From this highest level of the mental plane come down most of the influences poured out by the masters of wisdom, as they work for the evolution of the human race. They act directly on the souls, or egos, of individuals, shedding upon them the inspiring energies which stimulate spiritual growth. This helps enlighten the intellect and purify emotions. From here genius receives its illumination and all effort towards upliftment find their guidance. From the elders of the race light falls on everyone and each uses as much as one can assimilate, and thereby evolve. Thus, the highest glory of the heaven-world is found in the glory of service, and those who have accomplished their mental evolution are the fountains from which flows the strength for others who are climbing.
In a nutshell
The causal plane : Causal plane principles - in the rupa levels of the mental plane an entity changes form with every change of thought. Causal consciousness deals with the essence of a thing. The causal plane deals with the thing in itself. Every human being must touch the higher levels of the mental plane before reincarnation can take place. One will devote some time to plan ones future life on earth.
The personality which is transitory is the physical, astral and lower mental bodies whilst the individuality is the ego in the causal body - the reincarnating entity. The causal plane is one’s true home.
The causal body persists or one’s entire evolution. The object of the ego is to unfold its latent power by putting itself down in successive personalities. The growth and development of the causal body is assisted by the masters.
The ego, on it’s plane, deals with realities, with the thing in itself. The ego incarnates in a personality for the sake of acquiring definiteness. It is intended that the personality will eventually be the true expression of the ego and is achieved through the culmination of experience in fruits through incarnation in the personality.
