Pointing out the difference between major companies and micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), M Narayana Rao, chairman and managing director of Mishra Dhatu Nigam Limited has said that while big companies tend to manufacture products without paying much attention to innovation, MSMEs focus on betterment of different process and decreasing prices.

Narayana Rao was speaking at a ‘Buyer-Seller Meet’ organised by the National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) and Federation of AP Chambers of Commerce and Industries (FAPCCI) here on Friday.

Asked as to whether recent political turmoil was affecting MSME businesses, M Narayana Rao said that it is not posing a problem for MSMEs, except in a few cases.

HAL, BHEL, Midhani and some other PSUs participated in the meeting.

P Ravi Kumar, zonal general manager, NSIC a vendor development meet with exhibition would be organised at the NSIC campus in Kushaiguda on November 8 and 9.
