Robber held, gold recovered

The Amberpet police arrested a robber and  recovered gold ornaments worth `16 lakh from him.

The Amberpet police arrested a robber and  recovered gold ornaments worth `16 lakh from him.

According to police, they apprehended Boddupally Uppalaiah for moving under suspicious circumstances at Amberpet. On interrogation, he confessed to having committed thefts in Amberpet and Karkhana.

Similarly, the Saidabad police apprehended two youths on a bike for not furnishing proper documents. Based on suspicion, they were taken into custody. They have been identified as Syed Hyder Ali and Aslam Ali Khan, both residents of Yakutpura.  The accused lifted two-wheelers and after using them for a few days would abandon the same at some uninhabited places.
