HYDERABAD: For the upcoming Haj-2015, the Haj quota for AP and Telangana States would be enhanced much to the delight of pilgrims. Special Officer of Telangana State Haj Committee Prof SA Shukoor, who also represented AP at a meeting conveyed by the Haj Committee of India in Mumbai recently, said that the national committee had agreed to his proposal of deciding Haj quota for States on the basis of 2011 census.
“This would mean there would more number of places available for those who wish to visit Haj from Telugu states,” he said. Besides, the application forms for the next Haj would be issued from January.
