HYDERABAD: The State-Level Bankers Committee (SLBC) on Tuesday said all the households in TS will have at least one bank account and the State will be declared saturated by Dec 27. “If any household in any SSA/ward is not having bank account, they are requested to approach the nearest branch of any bank or bank mithra and open account,” SLBC said in a statement.
For any grievances, people may contact on -18004251825. “If no grievance is received by the said date, it will be deemed that all the households are having at least one bank account and the State will be declared saturated,” it added. The move is part of government of India’s ‘Prime Minister’s Jan Dhan Yojana’ programme where all banks through their branches, banking correspondents have surveyed the households and opened accounts covering all the 10 districts.
