9 IAS Officers Promoted to Selection Grade

Nine IAS officers of 2001 batch have been appointed to the Selection Grade, (Rs 37,400-67,000 - with Grade pay of Rs 8,700) with effect from January 1, 2014.

Nine IAS officers of 2001 batch have been appointed to the Selection Grade, (Rs 37,400-67,000 - with Grade pay of Rs 8,700) with effect from January 1, 2014.

All the officers have been retained in their respective posts.

The officers promoted to the Selection Grade include Smitha Sabharwal (Medak collector), Siddharth Jain (West Godavari collector), Neetu Kumari Prasad (East Godavari collector), Christina Z Chogthu (Spl Commissioner, commercial tax), GSRKR Vijay Kumar (Prakasam collector), KS Sreenivasa Raju (Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams JEO), KRBHN Chakravarthy (Director, Youth Services), G Kishan (Warangal district collector), M Girija Shankar (Mahbubnagar collector).

2 IAS Officers Shifted

The state government on Monday transferred two IAS officers. K Illamabarithi working as project director of the AP Municipal Development Project has been transferred and posted as deputy commissioner (Commerical Tax) for Punjagutta Division and Sujatha Sharma, who is working as secretary to commissioner of commercial taxes, has been transferred and posted as deputy commissioner (Commercial Taxes) Begumpet, Hyderabad.
