Two Minors, Woman Sexually Assaulted

Two minor girls were sexually assaulted by two youngsters in Bachupally locality in the city outskirts.

Two minor girls were sexually assaulted by two youngsters in Bachupally locality in the city outskirts. The incident reportedly took place on January 30 evening when the girls were on the way back home from a nearby shop. Dundigal police have registered a case under Nirbhaya Act on Tuesday.

The accused identified as Mallesh (22) and Sharvan (23), both housekeeping staff at Dr Reddy’s Laboratories, are absconding. According to the victims, who are classmates in Zila Parishad High School, the  accused were in an inebriated condition and took them to a nearby building under construction where they raped them repeatedly.

The girls informed their parents several days after the incident. The parents who were initially reluctant to approach the police, did so with the intervention of child rights’ activists.  They lodged a complaint with the Dundigal police who took up the investigation.

Boss Booked : A 56-year-old senior manager in an IT firm was booked for sexually assaulting a female employee at his office in Banjara Hills. Unable to bear the harassment at the workplace, the victim quit her job and reported the matter to the police.

The accused was identified as Parameswara Rao, the in-charge managing director of Dot Spiders Info Solutions in Arora Colony in Banjara Hills. The 23-year old software engineer told the police that her boss was in the habit of making passes at her. He also sent her vulgar and inappropriate text messages. He often misbehaved with her by touching her inappropriately and even forced her to watch porn clips with him. Banjara police booked a case against the accused and began a hunt for him.
