Ban Orders in City from Today

With a view to maintain public order, peace and tranquility in the twin cities, Hyderabad police commissioner Anurag Sharma issued prohibitory orders. These order shall be in force with effect from 6 a.m. on Friday (Feb 7) to 6 a.m. on February 13.

Any kind of public meetings and processions within the City are prohibited without obtaining prior permission from the zonal DCPs concerned.

Police also prohibited use of mikes/public address system around the Secretariat premises, including Burgula Rama Krishna Rao Building, GHMC building, commissioner of fisheries building, Mint Compound, Nizam College and its surroundings, Assembly premises and surrounding roads, Public Gardens, IMAX, Rotary and NTR Marg, fly-over leading to Visweswarayya statue
