The supporters of the Bajrang Dal will go round the city and stage demonstrations outside restaurants and resorts that observe Valentine’s Day on Friday.

Further, counseling will given to young couples if the activists spot them in public places, said its state convenor Y Bhanu Prakash.

Speaking to newsmen here on Thursday, he said, ‘’We will stage protests until these business establishments, that commercialise everything including love, stop luring young couples with special Valentine’s Day offers. If the managements do not budge we will further intensify our protests.”

He informed that their team of volunteers will stage protests at Kukatpally, Dilshuknagar, Shamshabad, Hi-tech City, Malkajgiri, Begumpet and Secundrabad areas.

Vishwa Hindu Parishad state convener A. Keshav Raju underscored that they would not perform marriage to any couple spotted in public places. ‘’The VHP is not a marriage bureau to perform marriages, however, we will offer counselling to these couples,” he clarified.
