Hyd Travel Meet from Tomorrow

To promote tourism in the state, Hyderabad Travel Meet, a buyer-seller event that showcases the best of Andhra Pradesh tourism will be held from February 21-23.

To promote tourism in the state, Hyderabad Travel Meet, a buyer-seller event that showcases the best of Andhra Pradesh tourism will be held from February 21-23. A total of 250 participants, including 25 overseas participants, are expected to present their tourism products.

The meet is aimed at bringing together travel industry professionals, hotels and other hospitality industry personnel. Over 40 exhibitors, including Taj Group of Hotels, Thomas Cook, Cox and Kings, Ramoji Film City, Kerala Tourism and Karnataka Tourism will put up their stalls, Chandana Khan, special chief secretary, tourism, said here on Wednesday at a press briefing.

Alongside, panel discussions will be held on heritage tourism, international and inbound tourism, technology in tourism, rural tourism, opportunities in wellness tourism at Prayatak Bhavan. Renowned tourism experts Sujit Benarjee and Subash Goyal will speak on the trends in tourism and hospitality industry, she added.

Cultural programmes will be held at Shilparamam and fashion shows will be conducted at the National Institute of Fashion Technology on February 22.
