Curbs on Vehicles in Cantonment

Army authorities in Secunderabad Cantonment have barred movement of civilians’ vehicles on certain roads in the Cantonment area between 10 pm and 8 am from February 25 to March 9.

Army authorities in Secunderabad Cantonment have barred movement of civilians’ vehicles on certain roads in the Cantonment area between 10 pm and 8 am from February 25 to March 9.

The restrictions will be on vehicles  coming from SP Road/East Marredpally towards Allahabad Gate (Entrenchment Road); from Secunderabad Club, Picket/West Marredpally towards Wellington Enclave (Wellington Road); from the Safilguda Junction towards the Safilguda railway crossing (Ordnance Road) and Mornington Road.

From March 10, the entry will be totally closed (day and night) on the above roads.

Also there will be no entry for the traffic coming from the RK Puram flyover (which  turns  left) at the Trimulgherry Kendriya Vidyalaya crossing (towards Gough Road) to move towards East and West Marredpally through AOC Circle. The public is advised to use main roads to reach their destinations.
