Hyderabad-based defence public sector undertaking Bharat Dynamics Ltd (BDL) has paid a dividend of Rs 58 crore for the financial year 2013-14 to the Central government. The interim dividend paid by the company works out to 50.43 per cent on the paid up share capital of Rs 115 crore.
SN Mantha, chairman and managing director of BDL, presented the dividend cheque to Union defence minister A K Antony in New Delhi on Monday. GC Pati, secretary (defence production) and M Radhakrishnan, DGM (Liaison Officer), BDL, were also present on the occasion.
