Smoke Scare on Flight to R'mundry

HYDERABAD: Panic gripped passengers and crew members when smoke emanated from an air-conditioner in a Jet Airways flight 9W 2760 bound for Rajahmundry.

According to sources, the plane made an emergency landing at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport at Shamshabad here. After the passengers disembarked, the plane was taken to the runway for an overhaul where the source of the smoke was detected. No casualities were reported.
