HYDERABAD: A postgraduate student was allegedly sexually assaulted by two of her friends during a get-together at the men’s hostel on the English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU) campus early on Saturday.
Both the accused, identified as Nitin Solasamudram, 21, and Rajasimha Kusuma, 24, were taken into custody on Sunday, after the 23-year-old victim approached the Osmania University Police on Saturday evening.
The victim is a second-year MA English course student of EFLU hailing from Delhi. While Nitin is a first year MCJ student from Hindupur, Rajasimha from Rajahmundry graduated from EFLU last year and has been working for a private firm in the city.
