Actor's Son Assaulted by MLA's Aides at RGIA

HYDERABAD: Tollywood actor Brahmaji’s son Sanjay was allegedly assaulted by Rajendranagar MLA Prakash Goud’s followers after heated arguments at the toll gate near the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport at Shamshabad on Sunday.

Sanjay, who was proceeding towards Gachibowli from the airport, was paying toll at the toll gate around 5.30 pm, when the MLA’s car reached the toll gate and pulled up behind Sanjay’s car. As the MLA’s car driver kept on pressing the horn, an irritated Sanjay went up to the car in which the MLA was seated and questioned him about sounding the horn. In the meantime, the MLA’s followers got down from the car and assaulted him brutally.

Sanjay approached the RGIA police and lodged a complaint. DCP Ramesh Naidu said the police verified the CCTV footage and came to the opinion that Sanjay deliberately started the argument with the MLA and his followers.

Police did not register any case as the two parties reached a compromise later.
