Women-Oriented Job Portal Launched

HYDERABAD: A new job portal meant only for women was launched by Michael Mullins, US consul general and professor Richard D’Aveni, strategist and management guru on Tuesday.  

“V-pact’s goal is to provide a platform that will enable women to access part-time employment opportunities, either on an assignment basis or on an hourly basis, so that they become economically productive members of the society,” informs Shilpa Rao, the brainchild behind the portal.

“ALL being first-of-its-kind international women chamber, is a perfect platform to launch a portal like this. We are dedicated to provide correct job opportunities to women professionals within and across India,” says Shilpa.

It aims to provide part-time employment opportunities to women, who have professional skills, but are unable to take up full time    employment               .

The service is provided using a web-based portal that brings potential employers and women, looking for part-time employment opportunities, together onto a common platform.
