Move for Two New Railway Terminals

HYDERABAD: The South Central Railway will submit a list of new proposals to the Railway Board for sanction.

The proposals include : development of new passenger terminals in the twin cities at Moulali and Nagulapalli to ease the  congestion at Secunderabad Junction; provision of CCTV surveillance cameras with central monitoring system at all MMTS stations in Hyderabad for strengthening security and monitoring cleanliness activities; and elimination of unmanned level crossings through manning, subways and diversion roads for enhanced safety, etc,

SCR general manager PK Srivastava held a high-level review meeting with all principal heads of departments and all divisional railway managers through video conferencing at Rail Nilayam in Secunderabad on Thursday.

He reviewed the progress of developmental works, especially traffic facilities, track renewal, developing new passenger terminals, road overbridges, road underbridges, elimination of unmanned level crossings,etc.
