Soujanya Kamal lodged complaint against Ravi Kumar; police allegedly did not register case

HYDERABAD: Sultan Bazar assistant commissioner of police TS Ravi Kumar’s wife, two sons and his brother-in-law allegedly assaulted their woman neighbour and TDP spokesperson brutally over car parking on their apartment premises at Indiranagar in Humayun Nagar police limits on Thursday.

Even though victim, Soujanya Kamal, had lodged a complaint earlier with the Asifnagar ACP alleging that Ravi Kumar had threatened her, the police did not register any case. Meanwhile, Ravi Kumar allegedly influenced the apartment watchman and made his wife lodge a complaint against Soujanya Kamal.

Soujanya Kamal told Express that she was a resident of Prashan Apartments on the first floor. Ravi Kumar, who resides on the second floor, let his brother-in-law to park his car in the parking lot though he is not a resident.

On Wednesday, Soujanya Kamal bought a new car and parked it in the parking place.  Ravi Kumar’s two sons, wife and his brother-in-law abused and assaulted her brutally,” said Humayun Nagar police. Though she lodged a complaint, police did not register cases. She was taken to Osmania General Hospital and her health condition is said to be serious.
