Photo Trade Show, the three-day exclusive photo expo offers quite a bit for photographers and photo enthusiasts in the city

HYDERABAD: With an aim to provide a platform to the number of groups and photographers’ associations in Telangana, the first Photo Trade Show is being conducted in Jalavihar.

“We have scouted through a number of districts in Telangana and found out that people there have skill and ideas, but there are not enough and appropriate resources. This expo will be playing the role of a bridge,” informs Om Prakash, one of the organisers. The exhibition showcases the best of equipment and services offered to photographers from vendors across the country along with leading international brands. 

Mounts for shutterbugs

Zeiss Loxia and Zeiss Otus are offerings from Carl Zeiss. Both of them fall in the must-buy category for photographers and the range available is plenty. “It starts from Rs 50,000 and goes up to Rs 3,00,000,” informs Sujith KR, assistant manager. Providing live experience and sharing some images with us he points to the extraordinary clarity of the subject when shot with these lenses. “Zoom in 100 per cent, there will not be any pixellation,” he demonstrates adding that they are available only at the expo currently.

Photos to impress and videos to inspire

This is the motto of the Panasonic’s latest 4K camcorder and their GH4 series that comes with added features and ultra high definition video recording that is all about giving attention to detail. The display quality has much more clarity and this can be used to shoot a film too. For sale only in Chennai currently, these cameras have been launched in the city at the expo. They are being offered at a discounted price of Rs 1,10,000 and Rs 1,75,000 respectively.

Apart from this, Nikon and Sony are offering a wide range of products, all at discounted prices.

The expo, which is on till November 23, also has a whole range of options for post processing. If you thought digitising everything is the current norm, then you may have to pay a visit to this expo.

After-Effects

After a photographer finishes with creating an album, Aakruti Digipress and Loven Photo Books, among many others, offer a variety of presentation options for the photographers -- from pictures with embossing that also includes glitter, transparent paper for special pictures and also effects in videography.
