HYDERABAD: To provide better and advanced transport system, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation is in the process of identifying roads for development as express corridors in the city.
At a review meeting held with senior officials of traffic police and GHMC here on Saturday, GHMC commissioner Somesh Kumar said that five or six high-density traffic areas were being identified and proposals would be sent to the government for approval.
To provide free flow of traffic without signals the kind of systems to be adopted will be discussed at the next meeting and instructions were given to the consultants to submit technical survey report at the earliest, he added.
