HYDERABAD: Education is the only tool that can change life of a person and lays the foundation for success, accomplished cricketer VVS Laxman has said.
Participating in Teachers’ Day celebrations organised by Teach For India at Indian School of Business here on Friday, he said, “A mediocre teacher tells, a good teacher explains, a superior teacher demonstrates and a great teacher inspires.”
World Blind Cricket Council chairman George Abraham, showed a short film produced by his Score Foundation, which showed the success scripted by three visually challenged people in different fields.
CII vice-chairperson Vanita Datla also spoke.
Students of Siddhartha High School presented a skit. Laxman unveiled the logo of CII Young Indian Youth Conclave which will be held here on November 21 and 22.
