HYDERABAD: For lovers of handwoven sarees here’s some good news. Weavers India opens up it’s second store. While the demand for traditional handloom textiles by the younger generations is increasing steadily, there is every need to promote and support these traders’ works and skills. With the apparel industry expanding rapidly the weavers are required to acquaint themselves and modify their expertise as per the newer trends in the market.

The representatives of the Bhavana Weavers India said that they were encouraging the handloom textiles by offering the textiles at the production cost. The store has different varieties of handlooms sarees in pattu, kanjivaram as well as organic ones from across the country. The new store was inaugurated by GV Pinky Reddy, director of GVK and the designer studio floor by Padmashri awardee Gajam Anjaiah- an Indian master handloom designer at Road no 78, Jubilee Hills.
