SANGAREDDY: Gitam University officials have revealed that they will be constituting a national-level advisory committee to encourage entrepreneurship through its existing campuses in Bangalore, Visakhapatnam and Hyderabad.
Inaugurating a 30-day workshop on ‘Mobile Application Development and 3D Printing’ with an aim to encourage startups, Director professor N Siva Prasad said, “Our university is also allocating a special budget to encourage research activities which will facilitate startup companies,” and added that the student community should take advantage of the state government’s initiatives and incentives to establish startups.
Product Designer Honey Bajaj, who had organised design thinking workshops at various places across the globe, was the resource person for this workshop.
She appreciated the efforts of the university’s management to encourage budding entrepreneurs.
