HYDERABAD: While Hyderabad Growth Corridor Limited (HGCL), a wing of the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) is making efforts to speed up the ‘jinxed’ 10 km Shamirpet-Keesara stretch of the Outer Ring Road (ORR) and subsequently open the main carriageway to traffic by December, it has also proposed to take up beautification and maintenance of four rotaries at the two junctions of Benguluru and Shameerpet on the ORR.

The Urban Forestry wing of Buddha Purnima Project (BPP) intends to select agencies for undertaking these said works.

The works, that are to be carried out by the bidder at the two Rotaries, include beautification, laying of carpet lawn, regular watering and removal of weeds etc for 45 days for the initial establishment.

Plants and garden trees will be planted to beautify the stretch and it will be maintained as hedges.
