HYDERABAD: A Tollywood producer died and a director was hospitalised after the car they were travelling in, rammed another vehicle on the Outer Ring Road (ORR) near Shamshabad on Saturday. The deceased has been identified as Nagireddy and Madan is the director who is hospitalised. Police said, the person driving the car lost control and hit the vehicle in front of it which caused the accident. Nagireddy died on the spot.
Counter Intelligence Cell SI Suspended
The Cyberabad police commissioner CV Anand on Saturday suspended Counter Intelligence Cell sub inspector, Cyberabad for getting involved in a land dispute case, when he was the SI at Madhapur police station. The suspended SI is V Srinivas Rao. Sources said, the SI violated rules by not arresting a person in connection with a land dispute case. The SI even failed to submit the case status report to higher officials.
