In a bid to promote healthy eating and sustainable living Ananda Foundation’s Plate to Planet wing interacted with students of International school, Shaikpet.
The Foundation has initiated a project where they are setting up edible urban gardening in schools.
Though most schools have gardens and open spaces they do not recycle water or have edible gardens. These gardens aim to use water resources judiciously and also provide greenery on the school premises.
Volunteers of the foundation interacted with students and gave a brief regarding saplings and their care which wear thereafter planted.
