4-member Gang Held, Gold Seized

SANGAREDDY:  Police arrested four thieves in connection with several burglaries in the district and recovered gold ornaments, statues etc. 

Medak DSP G Rajaratnam said that they stole gold chains, harathi, plate etc. from the Laxminagar temple of Papannapet mandal.

The arrested were Chippa Srinivas alias Chintala Ramulu, Megavath Chander, Mangali Bhikshapathi, Malohath Ramulu. They were were taken into custody when they were moving suspiciously during a vehicle search.

They had stolen statues and pooja items from a house in Mangalparthi village of Yeldurthy mandal on the pretext that there was a sand boa in the house.

Medak Rural DSP Ramakrishna said that the stolen items were recovered and the accused were  remanded.
