HYDERABAD: In a tragic incident, a 23-year-old B Tech student was crushed to death under the wheels of a speeding truck here on Wednesday. The accident took place at Habsiguda in Nacharam police limits.
The deceased was identified as Mohammed Sameer, 23, a resident of Vansthalipuram.
According to police, a tipper lorry hit Sameer’s bike from the rear end when he reached road 8, Habsiguda. The tripper driver abandoned the vehicle and escaped from the spot.
The body was shifted to mortuary for postmortem. A case of rash and negligent driving causing death was registered.
