Man Held at Airport with 1.2 kg Gold

HYDERABAD: The customs officials on Wednesday detained a passenger for smuggling gold bars concealed in his footwear at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA). The goldbars weighed 1.2 kg.

The passenger, a resident of Hyderabad, arrived at the RGIA from Dubai. During the regular check, the custom officials found gold bars in his footwear. The custom officials detained the gold bars.
