HYDERABAD:The Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) requested Union coal secretary Anil Swarup to enhance the sanctioning power of SCCL Board from Rs 500 crores to Rs 1000 crores. The board also urged him to provide speedy approval to pending projects.
Union Coal secretary Anil Swarup visited the Adriyala Project Area and Ramagundam-3 Area of the Singareni Collieries Company Limited(SCCL)on Friday.
Accompanied by SCCL chairman and managing director N Sridhar, Anil Swarup commissioned the Mine Cruiser, a diesel operated transport vehicle, which can carry 16 persons in under ground work space. This would improve the mobility of manpower in the mines.
