GHMC to Speed Up Linkage of Aadhaar-Voter

Citizens can even get linkage done through SMS, Internet or at any Mee Seva Centre

HYDERABAD:  As seeding of Aadhaar card with Elector’s Photo Identity Card (EPIC) is going on at a slow pace in Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) limits, special officer, Somesh Kumar has deputed senior officials to speed up the process. This decision follows a review meeting today at GHMC.

Invoking Election Commission of India, Somesh appealed to the citizens to come forward for linking Aadhaar with Voter ID. The booth level officers are already in the field for door-to-door verification and Aadhaar seeding and citizens can also get the linkage done through SMS/Internet/at all Mee Seva Centres.

To oversee the operations, deputy commissioners and zonal commissioners and the concerned officials are monitoring the percentage of the seeding on a daily basis.

The officers who have been deputed to supervise the Aadhar seeding operations. Circle-1, Kapra (Narender), Circle-2, Uppal (N.Ravi Kiran) additional commissioner (H&S), Circle-3, L.B. Nagar, (Raghu Prasad), zonal commissioner.

Circle-4, Sardar Mahal, (Hari Krishna, additional commissioner and Bhaskar Reddy additional SP, Vigilance).

Circle-5, Sardar Mahal, (L. Vandan Kumar, additional commissioner and Prem Raj (OSD, Sports). Circle-6, Rajendra Nagar (Balasubrahmanyam Reddy, zonal commissioner).

Circle-7, Khairatabad (G Kishan, zonal commissioner). Circle-8, Abids, (Venkateshwar Reddy, CVO).

Circle-9, Abids (Chandraiah, land acquisition officer).

Circle-10, Khairtabad (Siva Parvathi, additional commissioner).

Circle-11 and  12, Serilingampally (Gourval, Uppal additional commissioner).
