Legacy Walk

A long stretch of natural rock formation with an adjacent walkway, nestled in the Wells Fargo Enterprise Global Services (EGS) building, has found a place in the 2015 edition of the Limca Book of Records, the Indian version of the Guinness World Records, a new category in the book. The entry notes that, by integrating the “natural rock formation into its office building, the company aims to spread the message of green buildings and sustainability.” The rock formation, which has overlooking and adjacent walkways, is about 191 feet long, 14 feet high at its highest point, and 25 feet deep at its deepest point.

“During the construction of this tower in Hyderabad, our leadership team made a conscious decision to preserve the existing rock formation by integrating it into the facility,” says Aveek Mukherjee, managing director, Wells Fargo India Solutions. The Legacy Walk was inaugurated on January 23, 2014 and its name signifies Wells Fargo’s legacy that, like the rock, has withstood the test of time.
