HYDERABAD: The state government has conferred Shantha Biotech, part of the vaccines division of French major Sanofi Pasteur, with the ‘Best Management Award-2015’ here on Friday. This was in recognition of its harmonious industrial relations, community development programmes, employee-friendly work policies and contribution to labour welfare.
The department of labour presents these award to outstanding companies every year to support and promote excellence in management practices.
“The well-being and prosperity of employees is the guiding principle for Shantha and this award is a testimony of our continued efforts in this area,” said Dr. Harish Iyer, CEO, Shantha Biotech.
