KARIMNAGAR: Two persons were killed on the spot after an RTC bus hit a motorbike at Ambedkar crossroads in Sircilla on Thursday.
According to sources, the victims were run over by the bus when they were crossing the road on their bike leading to the instant death of two persons. It is said that the bus was going towards Kamareddy.
The deceased were identified as Gajula Ravi (46), a beedi company owner in Sircilla and Nerella Lingaiah Goud (50) belonging to Kollur in Konaraopet mandal. Meanwhile, the daily wage bus driver Narsaiah surrendered himself to the police. Sircilla DSP D Narsaiah along with police personnel rushed to the spot. Police registered a case and took up investigation.
