Young Docs Camp Held at Yashoda

HYDERABAD:  In an attempt to bridge the gap between doctors and students and to provide aspiring young doctors with an opportunity to gain first hand experience on the finer nuances of the medical profession, Yashoda Hospitals, Secunderabad organised a medical camp.

“We believe that if you enjoy what you do, you will excel at your work.

Vital decisions, like career choice, cannot be made in vacuum. Therefore, we came up with the idea of young doctors camp to offer invaluable hands-on experience opportunity to all the students to work together with eminent doctors in a superior hospital environment,” said Dr Chandrasekhar, chief operating officer, Yashoda Hospital, Secunderabad, at the concluding ceremony of the 5th Young Doctors Camp here on Friday.

He further stated that out of the 2,000 entries, 150 were shorlisted based on merit.

They were divided into three batches and allotted to three different hospitals of the Yashoda Group in the city.

The camp, was held between May 11 to 14, Dr Chandrasekhar said.
