MANA TV Programmes to be Designed for Students

HYDERABAD: IT minister K T Rama Rao has said that the government would soon initiate measures to further extend the programmes of MANA TV, operated by the Society for Andhra Pradesh Network (SAPNET).

The minister visited B R Ambedkar Open University, from where the programmes of MANA TV are aired, along with senior officials of the IT department on Saturday.

While interacting with the officials, the misister said that the government wanted programmes to be designed in such a way that the students preparing for competitive exams can benefit from it.  The minister instructed the IT department to appoint a new Chief Executive Officer to oversee the functioning of SAPNET in the state andspecifically told the officials at MANA TV to design skill development programmes.
