HYDERABAD: Union panchayat raj and rural development minister Chowdary Birender Singh has promised additional funds for the state government’s Swachh Telangana initiative.
He has also laudedthe state government’s flagship programmes Water Grid, Haritha Haaram among others. State panchayat raj minister KT Rama Rao apprised the various programmes of the state government to the Union minister who was in the city on Thursday.
Congratulating KTR on taking up construction of toilets to make his constituency, Siricilla, free of open defecation, he suggested that the programme be extended to the entire state.
